To ensure that everyone who joins understands that this is a Christian community it is a requirement that you read and agree with the Statement of Faith below. Memberships from organizations or ministries that do not adhere to this statement of faith, either in principle or in practice will be removed from the database without notice and no refunds will be given.

Our Statement of Faith forms the basis of Christian doctrine on which all Christian ministries can agree upon and build together for the unity of the body of Christ in Calgary. This statement is the basic essentials which we believe are the intangibles that form the rock foundation on which all other Christian expression can emerge.

Secondly, those who join this community must be a Christian leader who is committed to building unity between other leaders in the body of Christ in Calgary. The emphasis, as you probably noticed, is on Christian unity and for that reason we do insist on a few ground rules. Our primary goal is to nurture the “Love one another” command of Jesus which means we would expect the attitudes of our members would be to edify and encourage one another in the faith. One Heart is not a place to air grievances, dispute doctrine or criticize other churches or ministries. Another expectation is that personal info shared within the community remains within the community.

All new memberships are monitored by the OHC Servant Leadership Team and in the event that any inappropriate or questionable material is posted on the site then the SLT may withdraw access rights without any prior warning. The administrator also holds the final authority to remove or revoke membership status of any individual or organization that does not adhere to our statement of faith.
